David Lynch in India: A film screening of ‘It’s a Beautiful World’ directed by Richard Beymer

Come for a ride with David Lynch as he follows in the footsteps of his master, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.  This 2014 film shows acclaimed actor and filmmaker Richard Beymer and old friend David Lynch as they visit the various abodes of Transcendental Meditation guru Maharishi across the Indian subcontinent. The film has only been shown at special engagements thus far, so we are lucky to have this available to share with you. The film will be presented by Wellington-based Transcendental Meditation teacher, and longtime friend of Richard's, Justyna Sobkowicz. 

This event is hosted by the Undercurrent bookstore, on the corner of Vivian and Tory. Doors open at 5.30 Screening commences after 6pm. $10 at the door. Snacks provided.
