The Undercurrent presents… Jazz Festival.
Lockie Bennett, a New Zealand School of Music graduate, is one of the most in-demand Jazz guitarists in Wellington. Bennett holds down multiple residencies in the capitol and plays around the city as both a band leader and a sideman.
This new and exciting drumless quartet will be playing arrangements of classic tunes from the 1956 hit musical ‘My Fair Lady’. Expect burning swing, gorgeous ballads and everything in between.
The quartet led by Lockie Bennett (guitar) features Alex Trask (alto saxophone), Ayrton Foote (piano) & Elijah Mulheron (upright bass).
