The Undercurrent presents a Film Screening of Mauri!

Join us for a free community screening of Mauri, directed by Maurizio and Zaya Benazzo and part of The Eternal Song, an extraordinary 13-film documentary journey exploring Indigenous wisdom, ancestral knowledge, resilience and healing across cultures.

Filmed in Aotearoa, Mauri journeys alongside Māori healers, elders and knowledge keepers, exploring colonisation, intergenerational trauma, identity, whenua and pathways of healing.

We'll gather first over kai and conversation, then share a gentle 15-minute grounding, gratitude and connection practice before immersing ourselves together in this powerful 70-minute film.
