The Undercurrent presents Wahine Weaving Words!

We are Wahine Weaving Words - a trio of poets who curate events in Pōneke that celebrate the wonderful world of words. Nau mai haere mai! All poets welcome!

Join us as the seasons shift for a cosy evening of spoken word. As we near the years shortest night, we will serve up an evening full of nourishing word medicine including poetry, music and community.

A place to gather together as we await Matariki, as we honour what has past, and nestle into the season of gestation and dreaming.

We are looking forward to returning to The Undercurrent Bookstore. Big thanks to Philip and Helena for hosting us - we will be gifting the proceeds of the night back to Undercurrent; venues like this are the beating heart of our city.
