This Sunday presents The Cowie Quartet!

The Cowie Quartet invites you to The Undercurrent's first ever classical gig! 

Come along for a relaxed afternoon of varied string quartet music from across the globe. We'll be playing 19th-century classics by Borodin and Dvorak, jazz-inspired works of Takemitsu and Piazzolla, as well as unique folk song arrangements.

We are a newly formed quartet of students from the New Zealand School of Music, brought together by our goal to bring classical music out of the concert hall and into more venues around Wellington. Come hang out, have a drink, and enjoy some live classical music in a different kind of setting.
